Bio
The year was 2000, and east side Vancouver BC Canada was the beginning of it all. Kasey Haze and TC, Davidson, who were high school friends, started a band together, not knowing they would get the Y2K bug. For the next four years, their projects would be plagued with drummers leaving and singers having constant drug, alcohol and commitment issues. Reforming in 2005, Kasey and TC along with Danny, who was from a previous project, met Darrin Von’ Evil and started Hellrazor. The band started blazing their own trail with a new sound, a new direction and a new attitude. Playing a brand of hard rock that has been tried by many and only mastered by few, the band started to get noticed. Building a reputation for putting on spectacular shows, they would find themselves performing at many of Vancouver’s established rock venues such as The Roxy, Richards on Richards and The Plaza. This time, the project would have solid members and their name was getting around town. In 2006, the band went into Turtle Studio (Larry Anschell – Nickelback, Bryan Adams) to record their debut album Feel The Sting. Songs from their 2006 debut release went on to be played at select major and independent radio stations across Canada. Tracks from "Feel the Sting" became available for individual purchase on 45 digital distribution sites such as Apple iTunes and Napster. Hellrazor’s entire album can be ordered at over 1600 record stores throughout Canada and the US. Over the next year, the band would get mixed reviews from critics, so the band decided to take album to the people. The verdict; was three weeks, 7000km, and a successful western Canadian summer tour. Only a month after the bands return, a bombshell was to be made. The announcement was inevitable and apparent by the band, but totally unexpected by fans, was made. This time it would be different, this time, they the cards were played differently than in the past. After constant battles between members, and other issues that affecting the band progress for over two years; Hellrazor announced the firing of Danny Rail in October 2007. So the search for a new vocalist began. Two long months, six auditions and seventeen vocalists later, Hellrazor announced that they had found their new vocalist, but not just any vocalist. Once again, the band did something unexpected and hired a female vocalist. The band is excited about writing their second album and direction with newly acquired vocalist Angela Blade. Hellrazor will continue to perform songs from their 2006 release, along side with new material the band is currently working on.
